His Grace the Most Reverend Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, has called on Ugandans to embrace unity, integrity and strong moral values as the country continues to navigate social and economic challenges.
Speaking during a public engagement, Archbishop Kaziimba emphasized the importance of national cohesion and collective responsibility in building a peaceful and prosperous Uganda.
“As Ugandans, we must remain united despite our differences and work together for the common good of our nation,” Archbishop Kaziimba said.
He noted that Uganda’s development depends not only on economic progress but also on the moral character and ethical conduct of its citizens. He urged leaders at all levels to serve with honesty, accountability and compassion in their roles.
“Our nation needs leaders and citizens who uphold truth, justice and integrity in every aspect of life,” he added.
The Archbishop further encouraged religious institutions, families and communities to play an active role in nurturing values that promote peace, respect and social harmony.
He reaffirmed the Church of Uganda’s commitment to supporting initiatives that foster national development, reconciliation and the well-being of all Ugandans.
Archbishop Kaziimba also called upon citizens to remain hopeful and continue working together towards a more united and prosperous future for the country, stressing that collective effort remains key to overcoming national challenges.
